Data for the Public Domain. Wikidata based tool to discover authors, find works and learn about the public domain. Hosted on Toolforge. https://paulina.toolforge.org

One of Paulina's most useful features is that, thanks to #Wikidata, it allows you to find out the copyright term for any country. In the top menu, you can click on the "Countries and Terms" option to access a list of countries with their respective copyright terms: https://paulina.toolforge.org/countries/

Clicking on a particular country will give you access to more information and statistics. We plan to add much more info to the country pages in the coming months to help you discover local works and authors.

Paulina allows you to explore cultural heritage in a variety of ways. You can search for authors (like Mary Shelley https://paulina.toolforge.org/author/Q47152) by name, nationality, gender, and copyright status as a creator; or creative works (like the film Metropolis https://paulina.toolforge.org/work/Q151599) by title, type of work, and country of origin.
Tip: if you leave the search field empty, you can apply filters to obtain lists of authors or works (see img).
In the future we plan to improve existing filters and add new ones!
