Yes, that’s me contemplating our planet’s largest biome and realizing I’m a spec of dust amidst the entire relatively tiny universe that is Earth.
Trains once staffed with five workers are now staffed by two. Conductors and engineers can be on call for 14 consecutive days and do not receive a single sick day. Once again, workers deemed essential are treated like anything but by uber-profitable corporations—and now Congress.
