Love it when movie theaters only put fragments of titles on the marquee because of space and letter limits.

Today three of the ones at the local are IKWYDLS (I Know What You Did Last Summer)

One of the lesser known miracles was when Jesus had a 12 pack of hot dogs and an 8 pack of buns and through an act of faith, no dog went bunless.
While seeing an elderly parent get dementia is terrible, it's a good way of finding out the true character of the relatives and friends who suddenly disappear.

"Why does it say the hospital is equipped for stroke emergency? We were there. They denied!"

"Maybe you should contact them that their website is wrong. This is dangerous."

"It wasn't on their website..."

"Weird now it says no instead of yes."

I go to take a look and realise with horror, yes: Google AI summary.

Google AI summary made my parents-in-law visit the wrong, unequipped hospital for a potential stroke emergency. 🙃

I'm assuming that these trade deals with the US is simply providing incentives for the rest of the world to learn to live without the US, both as a purchases and provider of goods.

The more I look into it the more doable it seems. First of all trying to enforce fare collection on buses is a huge headache that slows down the busses makes the drivers miserable and that fails to capture the funds it costs several times over.

That cost savings isn't enough to fully cover the decrease in fares but it makes it less onerous.

MTA bus service reduces traffic, and makes the city function. The subway is overcrowded. Another benefit.

It can be done.

I've got a quick favour to ask. If you're reading this post on Mastodon (or the Fediverse), please click boost.

How come?

I recently moved across to my own self-hosted single-user server (using GoToSocial.org). For a bunch of reasons, including visibility across the Fedi, it would really help out.
