I haven't come across this situation before but these are good, common sense, tips on what to do if a team member is working a second job. TL;DR it's nothing to do with you if it's not affecting their performance.

"I find the discourse around tech to be a pit of dismissiveness, avoidance, denial, resignation, and learned-helplessness. I've been doing a lot of interviewing people lately, and careful sentiment analysis. The results are horrifying. The very word "tech" is becoming synonymous with "Resistance is futile"."

This is exactly how I feel about it.

Tech = Big Tech = Monitoring and manipulation.
