Reminder: tomorrow is April Fool's Day, don't trust anything on the internet.

I’ve watched a couple episodes of Yellowjackets and I’m intrigued… but I’ve been burned by TV shows before. Do they know what they’re doing? You tell me! #yellowjackets

Does Yellowjackets have a plan?

Is there an overall plot to the TV show Yellowjackets? Is there a big plan for the story? Do they know where they’re heading? Or are they just making it up as they go?

I've received 5 VC offers "to chat" regarding Pixelfed in the past few days.

Not for sale.

Pixelfed belongs to the people.

I'd rather be broke and true to my beliefs, than sell out.

That's why I'm organizing a Kickstarter to fund the ethical development of Pixelfed, Loops and more.

It's time that someone stood up to them, instead of joining them.

Are you with me?

I've been inspired by @gregpak to centralize more of my work on my own minimalist website.

Today I put a bunch (but not all) of my nonfiction writing and blog posts on this one page! Check it out for a bunch of #gamedev and #startup musings.

@atomicpoet I can’t think of a less tech-bro corner of the internet. So silly, people are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm super stoked to share this interview with my pal Alex Irvine, lead writer on Marval Rivals. Alex let me (and my kids) pepper him with questions about Rivals, his career, how he moved from sci-fi to comics to games, and more! https://patrickcurry.com/marvel-rivals-alex-irvine/ #marvelrivals #gamedev
Answering my own question: I played around with SkyFeed for Bluesky ( https://skyfeed.app/ ) a bit today and it's pretty cool and powerful. Still open to other ideas and options.

@aeva I could also prototype my ideas as a TamperMonkey user script. They’re fun to make but it can become a real rabbit hole. Once you start “fixing” websites it can go on forever.
@aeva I’ve made a bunch of lil web views of Mastodon data and that’s fun. But I really want it in my client so I can like/boost/reply. My web experiments are here FYI: https://patrickcurry.com/socials/mastodon/tools/

@aeva Yeah my gut is that I’d have to crack open the code to one of the clients (or the default web client). Too much work for now, but maybe I can prototype it on Bluesky?
