Here's what the Rebel Tech Alliance website does for you :

I just updated the RTA blog post about #Meta with this nugget of info that I had overlooked: they have your #WhatsApp #encryption keys.... 🤦🏼‍♂️

So they can say "your content is end-to-end-encrypted" until the cows come home, but they can still access it whenever they want! (and they always want to, because they are an #advertising and #AI business, and supplier-of- #surveillance -info-to-the-cops business)

FYI Signal do NOT have your encryption keys.

This is what I've been saying: #bigtech wants us to #RentIntelligenceOwnIgnorance

😂 gotta love British humour (nonce means paedophile in UK slang)

Amazing site that tracks T-rump's actions and classifies them.

You can see he's bored of hollowing out the state and weakening civil rights, and has moved more into aggressive foreign policy.

Corruption and undermining democracy are a steady constant.

Are the courts going to push back, especially after the ICE shootings, Venezuela and potential aggression against Greenland?

All of it aided merrily by #bigtech of course.

Veers gives the order to shoot the power generator, but the AT-AT gunner decids to shoot this one random rebel soldier first 😂

https://confer.to/ is an interesting attempt (by one of the founders of Signal) to create a private #AI chatbot.

But requiring us to use #Google SSO is a massive #privacy fail!

Google will know:

- that you use confer
- the device id that is using confer
- the device ip address that is using confer

And it requires a Google account, which is a huge data leak in the first place.

I understand that a new project doesn't want to deal with user auth, but there has to be a better way.
