Imagine you're in a tank and the last thing you see before you die is a dude with cat ears aiming an AT4 directly at you.

I spent a few days troubleshooting strongSwan IPsec and Proxmox; uninstalling, reinstalling, changing permissions, even switching to the older interface of the socket, but nothing was working.
I even bought books on how to set up IPsec VPNs. I thought I had to learn the everything about protocol from the ground up to even see the tip of the issue.
Only to find out that AppArmor was blocking it this entire time, and I didn't even need to do all that. 🙃
