got most of the way through a model headswap in unity. what stopped me is that one of the two models is all one piece, so I need to break apart the mesh so I can use only its head. that has to be done in Blender with an add-on, and my stuff is out of date so I ran out of momentum.

it will be good practice since there's other parts of the other model I'll want to do something similar with, namely removing the feet for makeshift pin legs.

it's also unnecessarily AI because mocaping a face onto an animated one is actually really easy for even a small company to do nowadays, just ask vtubers.

it's also not even well done, because every time the face blinks her eyelashes get left behind, and it honestly just looks like she has a nictating membrane.
