Are there any plans to have a “mark as read” feature or perhaps even a mark as read while scrolling?

Also, I don’t know if it’s possible but a “Photos” feed section with Instagram, Flickr, Pixelfed, etc would be great.

So it turns out that deleting my Threads account, and following some quality accounts from there here in Mastodon was the right move. No more algorithmic feed and only pleasant and/or useful interactions here. #Threads #Mastodon

@goodlinks Do you know why links saved from Apple News are converted to standard links in GoodLinks?

For instance, when I save the link https://apple.news/A5xTk6zTvQNK2nyJmQKPgtQ Goodlinks converts it to https://www.wsj.com/tech/ev-home-charging-i-saved-hundreds-of-dollars-d082870c

Is there any way to prevent this behavior? It doesn’t happen with other apps. It seems to get converted when GoodLinks downloads the content. Any way to disable auto downloading articles?

Just turned off notifications for the Apple TV app. It’s disappointing because this app can and should be the all-in-one television tracking app.

I’m using Sequel now which is fantastic.

While I hate to see people lose their jobs, I am at least glad to see that Spotify’s ham-fisted podcast strategy has been a big dud. Gimlet should have never sold out to Spotify. It decimated a once-great podcasting company.

I found a fantastic app to track my books.

I was able to easily import my GoodReads data so I can further move away from all things Amazon.

It also has a lifetime purchase option and uses iCloud on the backend - two things I always look for in an app these day.
