I despise LLM’s soo much I’m thinking of quitting IT, I’m getting overwhelmed by the fact It is not possible for me to own my skills without an LLM and still be competitive and have a job. I’m writing a thesis on LLM security and was hoping to find something that didn’t involve LLMs to test LLMs. But all papers I read use LLMs to test LLMs security . I want to kms.🥲

Meanwhile the headlines: No gifts for kids this year! Santa’sFlare operations crashed due to a naughty list memory limit caused crash! :(

Good news for Linux security! Rust in the Linux kernel is no longer experimental. it's now a core part of the kernel. It means stronger memory safety guarantees, which can mean better security, as Rust is designed with memory safety in mind. 👍

There is a bittersweet part to it, and I think I will miss it, but it also felt necessary. It feels like a goodbye, but it isn't—I intend to stay on and continue to advise the new leadership and contribute, because Mastodon—and the fediverse—is one of the very few beacons of hope for a better web.

Hey, who is Daniel from the mail mentioned about httpget 0.2. Read the source code and there is Portuguese in there. Wondering if I know him.

More than half of #curl's source code lines have been changed within the last four years. 1,101 lines from before year 2000 still remain "untouched".
