Another triumph of visual #accessibility from #ChargeHub. Right next to each other, I can just make out the difference between the intensity of the EV charger availability circle but there’s nothing else there to make it stand out as to which is which. I’m assuming they’ve gone with the usual red/green differential but can’t actually tell. #Deuteranopia

Recently traveled to a place with poor internet but had a reasonable TV. I took my portable WD #Plex server and an Amazon #FireStick with the Plex app on it. In the past this has worked great: the stick plugs into the HDMI port of the TV, connects to the Plex server's wifi channel and streams movies or TV shows from it -- no internet needed!
Except those arseholes at #Amazon have updated the stick to require an internet connection to show their adverts. No net, no FireStick.
I do love my #SurfacePad case for the iPhone but since no one in Canada ever seems to stock them, I have to order directly from #12South in the US -- and that means FedEx and their extortionate customs clearance rates on top of their not exactly low shipping costs. So, even if I can get a good deal on the case itself, by the time it gets to me the pricing is more than doubled.
Still, very glad to have it as the previous one was in pretty poor shape.
This is happening a lot with #humblebundle -- the purchase happens, the download page appears, and it's empty. After a random amount of time and page reloads, the downloads finally appear. Equally, the same thing happens on the Your Purchases page where the entire bundle doesn't show up.
I'm assuming this is due to a slow backend SQL query that's timing out before it's finished rather than an actual data issue, but is it ever annoying...
Decided to dig out the thermal camera to track down the cold spots in the house that the current weather has, um, emphasized. For the most part, it's just those spots that I knew about, but some of those are very cold and we'll need to figure out how to deal with them come spring. For the moment, all we can do is increase air flow to warm them up.
