My name is Andy and I'm from Belgium. Born in '76.
I spend most of my free time digitising and restoring classic video game magazines, mostly from the UK.
I've been doing this for over 20 years now and I'm here to share my passion for these magazines, as well as the games they cover with others.
I love to read and talk about gaming memories from years gone by.

Little update on the kitty.
She’s doing quite a bit better now.
She actually wants to be near me again when I’m in the garden playing some Picross and was really enjoying a good belly rub just now. 😊

Speaking of films that are perfect to watch in summer.
A Snake of June is set during the Rainy Season in Japan and is so incredibly unique.

Disorienting and oft putting at times, but such an amazing piece of art that has stuck with me ever since I saw it first two years ago.

Already a massive fan of Shinya Tsukamoto, but this one exceeded all my expectations.

Review for Gargoyles Quest on Game Boy.

This one kicked my butt so hard, just like Wizards & Warriors: Fortress of Fear.
But I loved both nonetheless.

Review for Balloon Kid on Game Boy.
Taken from Total! 3 - March 1992 (UK)

I played this game all the time back in the day.
Didn't expect it to go from a single screen arcade -like game to a scrolling platformer.
So much fun!

Now, it wouldn't be an issue of Total! without a questionable review here or there, now would it?
In this case they give Shadow Warriors on NES 27% less than Captain Planet in the same issue... 😬
