Because they bring me such joy, I will share with you all the software testing videos I share with my Software Design and Development students.

Video 1/3: “We don’t need user testing! We already know our users”

@bouncing that is pretty cool. I’d be interested to hear more about how it works out for you. I have been on the fence of getting one for a while.
@ccgus doesn’t look like there is. I copy paste into BBEdit and use the diff tool. Not ideal and slower than it should be but works
This comment on Eva Mendes post this week stuck out because it underscores how false and widespread misinformation on food & agriculture is.

And I’m gonna use it to educate:

1️⃣ Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum herbicide: it kills all plants because it interferes with their EPSPS enzyme that is needed to make specific amino acids. Without those amino acids, they can't make proteins and they die.

@thomholwerda you brought Coca Cola up as an example??
@thomholwerda did they also require Coca Cola to let competitors fill their own coke drink into Coca Cola branded bottles and then require Coca Cola to distribute it on Coca Cola owned trucks? I think your example works better as an analogy for the forced switch to usb-c on phones. Every manufacturer now offers that, Apple included. For your Coca Cola example to make sense we have to wait until Coca Cola are declared to be a soft drink gatekeeper. Then let’s see what happens
@peternlewis my experience with shared notes is actually very good. For us the changes are synced almost instantly. I can see my partner’s edits in real time as she is typing in a shared note. There seems to be no lag at all.
@bouncing sugar-free bourbon? 😊
@lapcatsoftware I guess I don't understand your post then. It read to me that you were puzzled by the fact that stock prices move up when profits are down. Apologies for misreading it.
