JUST IN: Democrat John Ewing has defeated Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, a Republican who was running for a fourth term.

Ewing, who currently serves as Douglas County's treasurer and will be Omaha's first Black mayor, leads Stothert 56 to 44 percent with most ballots counted.

@Dianora Next season KCO is rotating through 3 new conductors, one each season. I'm also going to rotate #2 and #3 as principals through seasons to see how they'll do, they are both very solid.

@Dianora OMG my arms still hurt. I had to practice as Principal for KCO's concert last night, I was only about 75% leaned heavily on #2 and #3 I need to start working on stamina again.
