Hey Mastodon friends, I wanted to say thank you for all your input on my talk to our newsroom. It went really well and a lot of that is due to you!
Here are the slides and tipsheet I shared with reporters:

If you've got more things you think we should know I am all ears 🌽
It is that time of the year when #Mojo students and professors ask me what #Gear they should get for #MobileJournalism and #MobileVideo #Filmmaking.
I tell them to start here: This is where I keep lists updated my favorite mojo gear and #VideoJournalism #Broadcast rigs.

Star with the basic kit and then add in any small pieces you need for any specific types of work you want to do.
Happy filming!

If you attended #PASSDataCommunitySummit, remember to complete your overall survey. Feedback, good and bad, should result in a better "next" conference for all.
I gave some constructive criticism on areas I struggled with as a new attendee, as well as what went well.
@SQLBek I love this! I'm still quite new to speaking and need to catch up to @dbanuggets to see how she put together so many presentations so rapidly.
I'm sure the newstarsofdata.com speaker library has some things that can help me too.
I have started using some existing blog posts as the starting point for presentations, and that has helped speed things up.
I purchased the Humble Bundle from @neilhimself and I couldn't be happier! American Gods is one of my favorite stories and I am loving the consumption of it in graphic novel format. The charity aspect is just icing on the cake. 😀
