We found a trans-Neptunian Object (TNO) on a very cool orbit: 2020 VN40 orbits the sun exactly once in the same amount of time that Neptune orbits the sun exactly 10 times. It's really far from Neptune (and the rest of the planets), yet very strongly tied to Neptune due to this Mean-Motion Resonance (MMR) in its orbit.

ICE is about to try to hire like 100k goons, and everyone needs to pull together to make sure that job is as stressful, unpleasant, and socially isolating as possible. don't let them do a Thin Blue Line thing, don't give them the status of troops or veterans or any other kind of respectable public servant. they are the secret police who kidnap people's family and neighbors, and they should not be invited to the barbecue and you should not let your kids hang out with their kids.

During the Vietnam War... Troops drug taking was endemic... Such that the US gov expected a massive drug problem from returning soldiers

Never happened... As stress was removed and the quality of life improved the need to take drugs dropped

Same everywhere as the quality of life improves, crime drops, drug taking drops, health improves especially mental health improves and suicides drops etc

The Role of Government is not to perpetuate austerity and enact cuts but to improve the quality of life and remove external stress for it's population not just the wealthy, the land owners, landlords etc

You cannot cut your way to improve the quality of life

No arrest is made in 92% of vehicle thefts, 73% of rapes, 72% of robberies, 54% of assaults, and 42% of murders. Our ostensible peer nations solve crimes at a *far* higher rates. U.S. police are simply really bad at solving crimes.
