Jonesy’s here to bring you joy! #DogsOfMastodon #Whiggy #whippetto
Tried to get an AI picture of King Charles I surrounded by whippets but the ‘King Charles’ bit of the prompt overpowered the rest.
Looking forward to developing my first Mastodon crush
I tried to take a photo of a grasshopper on my windshield, but now it looks like it's gigantic and destroying the town.

Dutch traffic calming measures.

This street in #Utrecht was recently redesigned. To slow down drivers and make the street more safe for cyclists and pedestriants wanting to cross, several narrowings and more greenery is added. As a visual effect to slow down drivers, polka dots are painted on the pavement.

here's another free tip for all you lovely #TwitterMigration people:

you don't have to censor words here to evade search - there is no plain text search on Mastodon :) in fact, you actually shouldn't censor those words because then they won't be filtered out for all the people who set up filters. But you don't have to worry about random people jumping in your mentions because they name searched themselves - this just isn't possible on the fediverse :)

it's cool like that

Buying a Twitter Blue Tick is the toupee of the 21st century.
Also pics and vids of eagles and otters and fungi. Don’t shame me.
My main Twitter enjoyments were a) encountering interesting people I wouldn’t have come across any other way, b) politics (inc the politics of my industry), c) research chat in my area that I wouldn’t get in my department, d) shitposting and jokes, e) reading recommendations, f) cute pets, g) keeping up with real life pals. Wondering what other escapees are looking to recreate here? And if anyone has tips on how to do that?
