@dysmento Could Olaf stop showing off for five seconds?! We get it! He’s the best cat ever! Jeez. 😏
@xwordy Wow... this takes me back. I haven't used Tweetbot in ages! If anyone can make Mastodon user friendly, it's Tapbots.

Green dresses are a personal favorite; this one is up there in my all-time list.

I first ran across it when I was doing research into the history of velvet for one of my ThreadTalk subjects and I could not look away. It looks like it's made of moss, and if I wear it, I may find my way to Faerie.

The date on the gown is somewhere between 1885-1888, & it was made in Scotland by Gowan and Strachan, and is from the National Museums Scotland collection.

@TriangleManNC That movie is bonkers. Definitely had some groan-worthy moments, and a few obnoxious exposition-heavy dialog bombs. But, yeah, a great cast.

You know, I am grateful for you. For everyone out there who is curious, compassionate, kind, and fosters laughter, understanding, and connection.

The last few days have showed me that no one place can ever hold the keys to our communities, our passions, our power, and our fire.

No matter what, we've got this.

Some of my thoughts on 🐘
@sev Thanks for taking the time to explain it so eloquently. I really appreciate it.
@oldbie As you've seen in replies, different people's standards about CWs varies wildly. Personally, I choose to CW discussions of food or medical issues, mentions of violence or politics, photos w/eye contact, among other stuff. And I *absolutely* support marginalized people talking about lived experiences without hiding it behind a CW, even if it overlaps with some of those categories. Different people have *competing* access needs, so some flexibility and understanding and grace is necessary.
@ritawild Thanks for reminding me of that. I need to remember that hashtags are really valuable here, and the signal-to-noise ratio is quite good. This thread was really nice to read: https://socel.net/@Scofisticated/109311151597105108
