@D72cat yeah, I think if any real resistance takes place. The next logical step will be martial law. As an American living outside of the US, I can see clearly what's happening. Unfortunately, I don't have much hope. It seems everybody is falling in line. Starting to look like the collapse of the Soviet Union, The playbook is very similar to what happened to Hungary with Victor Orban, which Donald Trump and Elon musk were taking pointers from. Pair that with project 2025. Situation is grim.
@jeffjarvis precisely, Americans are in large part cheering on the destruction of democracy. As an American by birth only, it's sad to see our Nation following in the footsteps of Hungary, Turkey etc ..
