Love my wife and 4 kids. Proudly worked in the public school system for over 20 years. I’m really into #wildlife and #bird #photography. Listen to a lot of #phish and spent the entirety of my 20s as an annoying #smashingpumpkins fan.
The greatest game ever played was on a Wednesday in Cleveland. Go #Cubs

Very much looking forward to the era of weird mastodon.
As soon as those of you who think that you’re really good at back-in parking realize you’re actually not, only then can we truly heal as a nation.
Technically far from perfect, but I like these two photos of a Northern Mockingbird in the morning light at the beach, one taken one second after the other.

I don't know what it is about Snowy Egrets that I like so much, but they are without a doubt my favorite bird to shoot. I got a shot of this guy flying and it made my day.

I don't think there is a better feeling as a bird photographer than the anticipation of getting back home to see a shot that you know captured something fun.

“You only get one sunrise and one sunset a day, and you only get so many days on the planet. A good photographer does the math and doesn’t waste either.”
— Galen Rowell

One of my most recent captures in #wildlife #photography — a humpback whale breach in Santa Cruz, CA
I totally borked the alt text and said the bird is looking left. Lol. The bird is clearly looking right.

I like taking portraits.

I like taking bird pictures.

Why not both?
