@paul It just felt like an oddly confused production. Like, what was the point of showing the gun? Even the director can't really explain that scene.
@stroughtonsmith I did this as well, and also had the same experience. It probably needs to be dispelled with holy water.

@rmondello Maybe what's going on is that IG doesn't share addresses explicitly, but give advertisers a "automatically follow up with visitors" feature they can use. So it is anonymized from the perspective of the advertiser, but they can still keep their tracking ID sales metrics (and you still get harangued over email by extension, I've gotten this too)
@sandofsky Apollo, and competitors like ZoomInfo, are really skeevy. Among other things they scrape email signature blocks via Outlook plugins people willingly install and accept the terms for. If you do any amount of communication it is inevitable you will get caught up in one of these types of systems.

@stephenrobles I also finally cancelled. Wanted to keep it. I don’t think Apple gives it much love anymore… Was tired of having “grayed-out” tracks / playback errors become the norm for me rather than the exception. Also, whoever is managing music file fingerprinting / iTunes catalog matching at scale is letting widespread issues develop… got this concerning issue once and just don’t want that happening anymore. I just bought a new iPhone X and when I was restoring my iCloud account, 3 different apple IDs were “used to make iTunes Store purchases with the iCloud account. Never seen this before, please help I’m sketched the F out. This is one of them, the other is Chinese of origin...

@siracusa For me it is specific to the context. If I am "using the computer", which is what I like to do, silence. Although, this may include games and videos. If I am doing chores, which is what I do not like to do, music + podcasts. But I answered "no".
@stammy I agree, I miss this. Having something like this would feel right to me. It could be so improved today too with the iPad's magnets and peripheral pins.
