@stammy I love the idea behind this thing. I’m all in on the Apple ecosystem so I can’t switch but I agree with you wholeheartedly.

@stammy Agreed. My iPad is always dead when I need it because it doesn’t “live” anywhere like my MacBook and iPhone do.

@stammy I agree, I miss this. Having something like this would feel right to me. It could be so improved today too with the iPad's magnets and peripheral pins.

@stammy Back in the day, there was one. I used to own one of these things for some reason. It docked in portrait mode!

@stammy Still surprises me that Apple doesn't offer multi user support on iPad. Having a communal device docked that anyone in the house can pick up and use would be great. Though means fewer iPad sales so can’t imagine Apple wants to promote such a feature.

@stammy Maybe Apple should just bring MagSafe to the iPad. You’d have access to plenty 3rd-party accessories if it happened.
