@shawntomkin @RPDeshaies as symbiosis is an important part of the game/story, I'll create the "Cybernetist" profession from these two path assets: Gearhead and Naturalist.
A "cybernetist" was someone working on biomimicry and mechatronics to care, mantain and create life support systems in the generational ship, "Pluralia". He and others needed to abandon Pluralia in an emergency, while remaining crew was left on cryostasis.
I'm about to start a new game. Narratively, it'll draw inspiration from The Expanse (2015 - 2022), Scavengers Reign (2023 -) and La Voragine (1924). The ludonarrative will mix elements from Starforged by @shawntomkin, Nomadic/Breahtless by @RPDeshaies Entity by Candlenaut.
A space castaway is stranded on an alien planet, full of life, but indifferent to human life in particular. Exploration and symbiosis between tech and nature will play a key role in the story/game.
One thing is that your games are "dense" in the sense that they pack a lot of hackeability in a small footprint.
In fact, after 26+ years of playing #TTRPG, I have found that my primary need now have growth from expressing via playing games to expressing via designing/hacking them.
