@lilianalytic i keep trying to think of things and 50% i'm like "that's possibly too gross" and 50% are "wait no that's already a band" frickin' punx lmao

@lilianalytic oh for sure, i learned both piano and saxophone as a kid and was unfortunate to have very aggressive teachers and i quit playing music completely as a result, until this recent adventure! knowing everyone has a slightly different way of playing helps too, means i don't fixate as much on what is considered perfect/correct. nobody is smacking my hands with a ruler anymore if i don't do it exactly right, so it's still much more fun even when i don't do so well ​

hope my motivation does not run out as it would be super nice to be ok or even good at one thing, as opposed to entirely terrible at everything
