The Washington Post has laid off about 30% of staff across all departments, shuttering the sports and books sections and letting go all Middle East correspondents and editors, plus the beat reporter who covered Amazon. Former race and ethnicity reporter Emmanuel Felton wrote on X: "I’m among the hundreds of people laid off by The Post.
