Hey. It happens. Gremlins, I think. Here’s the thing: added stitches are never invisible, so if you can put them in a place they won’t be noticed (underarm for a sweater) then it will be fine. If not, either go with the number of stitches you have or do as others have suggested and rip out. Isn’t this fun?

@littlefish @merialc I started knitting during the pandemic. I feel like an old veteran now, but all my early problems, questions and disasters are very fresh. But it’s mostly been fun and so rewarding! Enjoy.
