I like the loose structure, the faded color, and all the strange random texture over it all. Maybe like hang gliding over the idea of land in a fuzz storm. haha. but I guess for me there's a feeling in all of PK's work, like a loose but interesting intelligence. Everything is weird but it doesn't hurt. ❤️

QUÉ RUIDO TAN TRISTE

Qué ruido tan triste el que hacen dos cuerpos cuando se aman,
parece como el viento que se mece en otoño
sobre adolescentes mutilados,
mientras las manos llueven,
manos ligeras, manos egoístas, manos obscenas,
cataratas de manos que fueron un día
flores en el jardín de un diminuto bolsillo.
Las flores son arena y los niños son hojas,
y su leve ruido es amable al oído
cuando ríen, cuando aman, cuando besan,
cuando besan el fondo
de un hombre joven y cansado
porque antaño soñó mucho día y noche.
Mas los niños no saben,
ni tampoco las manos llueven como dicen;
así el hombre, cansado de estar solo con sus sueños,
invoca los bolsillos que abandonan arena,
arena de las flores,
para que un día decoren su semblante de muerto.

Paul Klee (1879-1940), einer der bedeutendsten Künstler des 20. Jahrhunderts, ist Poet und Revolutionär – der erklärte Lieblingsmaler großer Musiker und Architekten. Mehrere bedeutende europäische Museen widmen ihm Ausstellungen, die sich vor allem mit dem erschütternden Spätwerk und seinem radikalen Zeitbezug auseinandersetzen. Die beiden schon zu Lebzeiten legendären Sammler Heinz Berggruen (Berlin) und Ernst Beyeler (Basel) besitzen die wertvollsten Bilder dieses Großen der klassischen Moderne – sie sind zudem in idealen Räumen ausgestellt.
In Bern, der Heimat des Malers, baut Stararchitekt Renzo Piano ein eigenes Paul Klee Museum mit dem Ziel, „das Sakrale und Profane zu verbinden und einen Ort der Ruhe und Stille zu schaffen, der gleichzeitig mit Leben gefüllt sein soll“. Die große Schau des Spätwerks trägt den Titel „Tod und Feuer“, eine programmatische Ankündigung. Die Dokumentation folgt den Spuren des heiteren Melancholikers und unbeirrbaren Pazifisten.
