@npspock For me the biggest impact is exactly what you described, the exhaustion at the end of the day is staggering. I literally have to just sit for about an hour to decompress. Hoping it will get better with time though. I yearn for a world full of neurodivergent people where I can just be myself.
@npspock you are seen by me at least. There will be thousands of others. You are stronger than you imagine. Please keep posting cos you have no idea how many people it might help with similar problems.
Ok the above seems more heavy than I meant it to be. You do you, sorry I come across so badly, it was meant with love.
@ArtBrew you're fine 😊
I've been in a good head space for a while, ever since I got a name to go with my "weirdness". Highs and lows of course, but mostly the lows aren't as low as they were before last July, and the highs are here more often. On the other hand, it was tough to realize I could be better off if someone had really seen me before.
Anyways, now I just need to fix this damn cholesterol and get a decent routine breakfast. 😁
@ArtBrew at this point in my path to understand my own mind, just feeling seen is already a real answer and solution. Thank you.
@Photo55 as far as I can tell, white bread is bad, and darker bread is ok-ish but not in the quantity I used to eat every day.
@Alison during the pandemic I used to make bread at home, and don't mind if I tell you it was delicious. 😊
@Alison well, I'm sure some of us would like it, but generally speaking, most Portuguese would go for a coffee and a toast or something like that. For kids usually milk and bread, which is kinda why I have always done it. I got used to it as a kid, and change is uncomfortable.
@magpie I've been eating one apple a day since I started this dietary cleanup, and I'm loving it.
@Alison yeah, I love eggs, but I don't think I could eat one for breakfast. Probably a cultural thing, I know in many countries that's completely normal - not Portugal though.
Thank you for the tip though. 😊
@Drude Yeah, for me it is too. And everything is more or less stable right now, except for the new dietary needs, and the damn Portuguese weather that lately is nothing but all shades of rain.
