Trying to make this site stick? I keep returning to the bird site because I have friends there who aren't anywhere else yet. It's actually really emotionally difficult to be losing that community when I'm also in a really hard place in life 🙃

Okay shouting this one at #NEISVoid ... how do I get over the feeling of needing "permission" to use mobility aids that I suspect would help me, when such permission is not going to be given by any "authority" figure? I know it's problematic thinking that I would project onto anyone else, but getting past it for myself is ✨hard✨

I've got 25 contact hours to get to at uni this week,, huge 6+ hours back to back with no breaks, all in different buildings.. Fatigue levels are awful today and being sat at a desk so long has made all my pain worse. I'm a week in and I already don't think I can manage it. Being a #DisabledStudent is hard work, especially without much support or people with shared experience around 🙃

Back to uni tomorrow, I couldn't be looking forwards to a 3 hour 9am workshop any less than I am, but hopefully this semester is slightly more productive than last. Properly down to my very final degree salvaging chances now :/

Took myself on an impromptu me-date to the theatre purely because #LauraMain is in Steel Magnolias and it's in town this week. A surprisingly enjoyable night that I had absolutely no expectation for, even from the cheap seats with very little room for even my short legs.

Oh I acquired a still v cheap but better quality microphone so I might start making my rambles into videos more often 👀
