@SKleefeld GiB is actually gibibyte, which, if I'm not mistaken, is technically a more accurate way to refer to storage sizes as that's how they are measured. But everyone uses gigabytes for some reason.
@valthonis it makes a lot more sense if you think about how public lobbies have so many people in them. You make a regular link party with a handful of people in there so that they get notified whenever you post a quest and can join. Environment link syncs the host's world with everyone else's so you can explore together, link an expedition in past games. If you play in small private lobbies, it's all pretty pointless and annoying.
There really needs to be a universal opt-out for all "new things" icons, notifications, etc. I do not want your stupid little dot, I don't want your stupid "New!" icon, and I absolutely do not want your stupid little pop-up telling me about some stupid new feature I'll never use.
@davey_cakes I group them by game (DnD 3.5, PF2e, CoC, etc), then, depending on how many I have for that system, I might further group by 1st party and 3rd party, adventures, Gate Pass Gazette, etc. Usually the major 1st party source books live in the main game folder and everything else is in one of those subfolders.
@skye honestly it just reinforces your point. The more things I add to my ad block filter, the more likely I am to miss legitimate content because it's all the same these days.
@BayesForDays As someone who does Excel quite a lot... No. Definitely causes me wrist pain.
@CactuarJoe They did. It broke compatibility with the Steam Deck, but they've already fixed it. There are no performance issues that I have seen anyone complain about and modders have already worked past it, so mods still work. Unless you specifically care about Enigma being on your computer, it's fine.
It occurs to me that the sign of the cross is just the Konami code.
I always hear people saying they are so refreshed and ready to go back to work after a vacation, but I just want to quit and never go back. My job is fine and all, but like... I don't *want* to do it.
Ah yes, summer, when my fingerprint reader stops recognizing me because I can never be dry enough.
