Curious. Just came across a site that abbreviated gigabyte as "GiB" instead of "GB" like I've seen literally everywhere else for the past few decades.
@SKleefeld GiB is actually gibibyte, which, if I'm not mistaken, is technically a more accurate way to refer to storage sizes as that's how they are measured. But everyone uses gigabytes for some reason.

1 GiB is 2 ^ 30
@noodohs @SKleefeld It used to be multiples of 1024 rather than 1000 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte#Multiple-byte_units , they settled on KiB MiB GiB if its using the 1024 multiple
