Very glad I have Mastadon as a counterpoint.
I'm not against this. I always thought "master" and (granted this doesn't apply here) "master/slave" was a weird way of putting it. It makes sense, but it still seems odd. Even if the seventies this was commented on but it just kind of stuck.
The problem for me is that Git CANNOT use this as an excuse to let SJWs get their foot in the door and hijack the organization.
