“I’ve never seen anything like this in my more than 20 years in Congress.”

—George Santos

A while back I deleted basically all cached profile headers on my server to save space. This didn't cause any issue until I started using elk.zone, which shows them in follow notifications.
Got the Kobo Libra 2 during work today. Messed around with it briefly and it gives the impression of being far and away superior to the Kindle Paperwhite. Page turns are fast and done by button, and the interface is clean and snappy.
The new Mastodon desktop browser client Elk.zone is pretty great. I just had to bump the tiny fonts up slightly but I'm really liking the clean Twitter-in-its-design-heyday-back-when-Doug-Bowman-still-worked-there-let's-call-it-2014ish looks
Just got into work after the holidays. Can anyone remind me what programmers do?

just quote-tooting this

the reason is that the Treehouse quote-posting patch (present on this server) is simple, easy and works

and is compatible with the Akkoma and Misskey quote-posting functionality, because the fediverse is bigger than website boy

and people have started asking their Mastodon admins to add the patch

its big spooky time
Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether old acquaintance *could* be forgot, they didn’t stop to think if old acquaintance *should* be forgot
So seeing more content that directly quotes Andrew Tate leading me to believe his public persona was basically "cool dude human trafficker". Like, it's not a surprise that he does human trafficking because he constantly talks about doing human trafficking.
I hate most RPG mechanics, and they're badly immersion breaking for me. I've never in real life compared the stats of two pairs of socks before choosing which to wear. I've never refreshed my hit points by drinking a red potion. I have never seen a handgun so masterfully manufactured that it does 5x as much damage as its kin, allowing it to kill high level rats. I haaaave tried carrying several dozen swords in a backpack, and tbh it didn't really work out.
