Workers on the move; unions for all. She/her. Stop caging people. Fund human needs.
Gigantic companies don't do things because they're "woke." They do things because they think it will help them increase their profits. That's it. No one was running around demanding they change Roald Dahl's books. It was Netflix (which owns the Roald Dahl Story Company) trying to figure out how to boost profits.

You can write to the protesters who are currently locked up! It helps raise their spirits and also lets the jail know that the public is paying attention to their treatment.
"Police affidavits on the arrest warrants of forest defenders facing domestic terror charges include the following as alleged examples of terrorist activity: “criminally trespassing on posted land,” “sleeping in the forest,” “sleeping in a hammock with another defendant,” being “known members” of “a prison abolitionist movement,” and aligning themselves with Defend the Atlanta Forest by “occupying a tree house while wearing a gas mask and camouflage clothing.”" https://theintercept.com/2023/01/27/cop-city-atlanta-forest/

Ten years ago, #AaronSwartz died by suicide following a prolonged and relentless crusade by the U.S. judiciary to prosecute him for allegedly downloading academic articles.

After his death, @freedomofpress took over maintenance of the open source whistleblower submission platform he had been developing, now called SecureDrop, hoping to get news orgs to adopt it. It's now used by dozens of news outlets worldwide.

Thank you, Aaron. ❤️ We are honored to carry on your legacy.
