I'd say a "Model" describes types of entities, while an "entity" is an instance of a model.
Example: a blog may have a "Post model" (in general).
One specific deployment of a blog may have 1000 "Post entities" (i.e. instances of the Post model).
If a model is backed by a database, I'd use the terms "entity", "record" and "row" synonymously.

I wonder if the silly naming is part of what helps people get away with this.
It is really hard to talk about, if everyone listening has to fight their inner 12-year-old, to take it seriously.

@hakb7 Ich wurde letztens darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass diese Platzierung des Hebels ziemlich ineffizient ist (hatte es selbst lange so probiert), weil:
1. schleift oben am Kern
2. sehr geringe Hebelwirkung am Kern selbst
3. funktioniert nur wenn der Hebel ziemlich exakt oben ins Schloss passt.
Ich benutzte jetzt die beiden Varianten auf den Bildern, und bin sehr zufrieden damit.
(die erste Variante ist mir am liebsten, weil dann viel Platz bleibt oben für das Pickwerkzeug. Einziger caveat: man muss kucken dass der Hebel nicht den ersten Pin berührt, aber das kriegt man schnell raus)
