@nolan #a11y is barely brought up if at all in many learning paths. I was invited to speak to third year information science students and when the instructor asked how many of them had learned anything about it, only 2 of 30 raised their hands. So not only do we have existing folks who are unaware, we’re still failing to make it a priority for new folks.

I guess I had kind of naively thought our industry was getting better at #a11y as a whole? In any case, I gave them feedback, so hopefully they'll fix it.
This year for the Rocky Horror Picture Show screening, I decided that Rocky needed some fan service, and since I had plenty of gold clothing and makeup on hand, I was a feminine Rocky to my friend’s Frank.
And then I got distracted by the rubber gloves while waiting for the show to start and did an homage to a Blink-182 album.
If anyone saw me walk in the house and come across one of my cats, they’d think I’m seeing a cat for the first time. #CatsOfMastondon
