Rockhounding was one of the big draws for me. On this short trip, we collected:
- Thundereggs
- Petrified wood
- Black bog petrified wood
- Teal picture jasper
- Leaf fossils
- Agate nodules
My kid even discovered a small cave filled with sparkly citrene geodes!
Even managed to get in some big miles in on the mountain bike.
The entire area is crisscrossed with steep orv trails that were really fun to bomb down.
