I'm a jack-of-all-trades tech goblin though hardware is what I do for money. Operator of Introvert.Social mostly for fun but trying to make the world a better place. I accept almost all follow requests, don't be shy.

Here’s the new home of introvert dot social and the various other self hosting endeavors I’m mucking about with. I started picking up hardware for cheap over the last year before prices went crazy. I found this neat trick where you could get 128GB, or more, DDR4 server ram for under 200USD by just buying a whole server instead of individual sticks. That market’s all dead now, thanks AI. I finally have firewall, storage, and redundant hosting instead of having everything in a single box that I was afraid to do anything with in case everything broke. And each server has a yeen based identity for easier management (very important)
Microsoft, what in the name of crazy-ex bullshit is this? The Windows label on this and every other laptop I’ve seen does not cover any screws or ports. So why is the label a tamper sticker? Pure petty spite that I would dare remove your branding and shitty AI OS from hardware that I own?
