if a project is small - has a small codebase, or a small userbase, whatever - that doesn't mean it is somehow incomplete or unsuccessful because it hasn't gotten big.

I very much like the idea of computers as tools to accomplish tasks. Sometimes the task is Play.

Sometimes the goal is to learn what's possible.

I wish more people who are worried about FOSS supply side attacks would realize that universal basic income and free healthcare would result in an almost infinite stream of excellent software from people who care more about quality than profit.

we could, like, have offline computers sometimes. not only as a treat. as a regular way of doing things.

everything doesn't have to be connected to the internet all the time. for real. I've seen it with my own two eyes. it's pretty cool.
