i think the great mastodon experiment is about to come to an end for me. i barely use it myself since not enough of the people i interact with have joined, which means i’m spending over $100/month to support a service that less than half a dozen people regularly use.

it’s been a cool experience to learn how to set this up and run it, but i think i’ll leave the instance admin duties to those with more devotion to the mastodon cause than i.
