Christchurch City Council is proposing new cycle lanes and this could impact parking on several New Brighton streets

ANOTHER MAJOR LEAP IN NEW BRIGHTON MALL UPGRADE
The Greater New Brighton Charitable Trust has signed of a formal contract with 'Constructa', marking a significant step forward in the delivery of the 'Village Green Project'—a community-led initiative.

CARNIES TAKE THE CAKE 2025
One of the biggest crowds for a New Brighton fireworks display turned up tonight and there was plenty of entertainment.
In my opinion the carnies (carnival operators) and food outlets stole the show.
The Carnies turned up a cold wet Thursday to clean up the scrubby untidy section it paid off as the rides attracted long queues, and participants able to watch the fireworks at the same time.

NEW BRIGHTON MALL TRANSFORMATION HAS NEVER STOPPED
Firstly, the New Brighton Residents Association endorses the comments made by Coastal City Councillor Celeste Donovan in her praise of the ‘Greater New Brighton Charitable Trust’ to get the ‘Village Green’ off the ground.
