@evacide I settled on accepting that dopamine is a thing of the past. At least it brought closure.
A co-worker just had a child a couple of days ago.
I just observed my passing thoughts, and realised that I was imagining celebrating the child’s 18th birthday in my mind, because I felt they might not get to, in 2043.
Watching my own thoughts shook me.
Is that what I really feel like now?
No wonder I feel stressed to all hell.
