In the age of Zoom, what do we call a phone screen?

From @adamshostack

As I've watched wave after wave of layoff, and heard from friends about the impact on their lives, I've wanted to do something to help.

One way I can help is making it easier to use your time between jobs to gain new, marketable skills.

I'm happy to announce that Shostack + Associates will gift seats in our live-instruction training courses to people who've lost their jobs in a layoff.

[Added Friday: Please use this link to register - we won't market to you unless you ask, but are getting a lot of interest, and automation is helping us stay on top of things.

Unleash your UNusable security abilities! #iarpa Proposers Day for ReSCIND, a program that aims to improve cybersecurity by developing a new set of cyberpsychology-informed defenses that leverage attacker’s human limitations, such as innate decision-making biases and cognitive vulnerabilities. https://www.client-meeting.net/rescind-proposers-day
Less sarcastically I am confident that setting up a bug bounty for open source projects that aren’t ready for them, and not funding submission triage is actively counterproductive
TFW insta includes in its recommendations to follow photos from a fb friend who committed suicide over a year ago.
I use known followers as a quality check on Twitter. I don’t seem to be able to see followers from other servers with the mastodon iPhone app. Thoughts on how to do those quality checks here?
