@luthien1126 Yes, he does. Less so (more studies as he grows)
Only this time for "our eyes only"

Though I'm considering uploading his sketches to pixelfed

@luthien1126

> I'd be happy to see your son's drawings, actually.

Unfortunately that account is now inaccessible :(
At least they could have made it read-only (no new uploads, just view already uploaded pictures)

@luthien1126 I had created one for my son. To upload his sketches/drawings (which were amazing if I may say so myself)

My son did **not** have access to the phone. **I** used to operate both my and his account, to keep his sketches separate (With the intent when he grows up, I'll handover the password to him)

But somewhere down the line **when instagram introduced the age check, I lost the access to that account.** (So now safe but sad)

@skinnylatte

First three are very common/household items in Indian cooking (I'm from Maharashtra/Western India. Near Mumbai)

1. We put curry leaves and turmeric powder in EVERY meal we cook (tadka : warm the oil then add these two, plus mustard seeds and cumin seeds)

2. Children have warm turmeric milk in the morning (especially in winters)

3. Adults have Lemongrass tea

4. Never heard of Pandan

As I started reading the address, I thought to myself,

"Oh, she named the entire road as a tribute to her book. Neat!"

and then I read rest of it..

Wow!

Before I moved to pixey.org, I used to upload them on my own site.

Sketches

Initially … These are the sketches I did from time to time, mostly for my son. These are sketches of the images found in his books. As you can see, these were drawn any almost any empty piece of paper (hence no consistency in the background, size etc.) using a pencil. Update : Since I started drawing relatively consistently, I started drawing more deliberately. I got a re-writable notebook, and I have since drawn several sketches in that, rather than “some piece of paper found at that moment” (I occasionally still do that, but less so.) I also started scanning these, rather than using mobile phone's camera to capture these, for better quality. It helped a little. I also started drawing digitally on a tablet. This created better images, no grey “shadows” on the sides, for example. But some how it does not feel the same as using “pen and paper”. But I'm getting better. and off course I get “undo”, which I can't on “pen and paper” (I wonder if that is a good thing) The drawings are still from children's books and magazines. But I started drawing from local newspaper as well. Click on the following sketch, to see others
