@viticci re the iPhone Fold, I like the name duo but that’s what Microsoft called their folding phone, so I’m not sure Apple would use that?
@caseyliss @marcoarment also have you considered the newer gen Polestar 2? The dual motor there is a lot better, in the UK it’s far cheaper than an i4, though range is a lot lower. But given the XC90 already in the family I thought you’d be familiar with lots of it.

@caseyliss @marcoarment re the BMW i4. My neighbour has the single motor M40, and I test drove the M50. The single motor is the way to go if you want BMW like handling. The dual motor just adds such a lump to the front, great in a straight line, so much worse around corners. A lot of the reviews on launch said a similar thing.

Speed difference to 60 is about 1.2secs but 210lb of extra weight over your front axle. Like having Muhammad Ali (at his prime) sat on your hood (bonnet).

@imyke @upgrade I was in M&S listening to this weeks SnellTalk and saw these. No idea if they’re similar to the ones mentioned, but made me chuckle as had never heard of them and suddenly there they were.

@connected regarding the increased Vision Pro weight; in the press releases it says “The lower strap features flexible fabric ribs embedded with tungsten inserts that provide a counterweight for additional comfort, balance, and stability.”

@atpfm I was that person who recognised the guy in Edinburgh!
@overcastfm hey - I’d love a nitpicky detail to swap the left swipe, so I could long swipe to mark as played rather than delete
@marcoarment so sorry to hear about Hopps. We lost our dog 3 years ago this week and I still miss him terribly.
@imyke re your dock and Limitless, have you tried the audio subsystem recording and transcription from ChatGPT? It’s nice because it doesn’t add an agent to a meeting like others.

@connected re Liquid Glass in b4. I’m 43, prime ‘tech boomer’ age and with a couple of exceptions I kept rolling my eyes thinking man shouts at cloud.

I’ve been running this since the first beta. I’ve never not been able to read anything and I wear reading glasses.

The screenshots that have been posted aren’t a fair representation of what it’s like to use a dynamic UI. I’ve also been unable to find any situation where text is completely unreadable.

I prefer b4 to b3.
