BOSS: I need you to put these coupon stickers on all the Pick Me Up boxes
EMPLOYEE: Do you care where we place those stickers?
BOSS: Yeah, *on the box*. Don’t make me repeat myself. Idiots.
It's sad that I do this, but it's where I draw the line. I have no problem having conservative friends in that community. There's one person that compared Obama's "damage to America" to 9/11 and while I didn't agree with it, I felt it was mostly irrelevant to my connections with that person.
But I can not help but feel that LoTT wants LGBT people to die. If you're following her, it's either out of morbid curiosity or because you agree, and for my own safety I can't overlook it.
Talking about how I use Twitter on Mastodon is a lot less likely to get me cool replies from shitty trolls, so I'm going to confess something about Twitter and how I use it here, where fewer people will care:
I check to see if anyone who I follow also follows LibsOfTikTok, and I unfollow them if I do. Sometimes force them to unfollow me as well. I've only had to do this three times, all of them related to the Vegas tourism community (one industry executive and two fans).
While I'm not playing this game, it does seem that the people taking action are drew the line in a very boring place, and harassing others (streamers, paid reviewers, etc) for not joining them in their protest is just awful.
