aaaaaaaaand I just remembered what I didn't like about mastodon.social! The speed of the Federated timeline is horrific!

Hello Assembled People of European Mastodon! I work at @eff on international copyright. You might have heard of #article13, the EU proposal to require © filters on sharing sites.

We're really worried that this could affect services like ActivePub/Mastodon instances, opening them up to lawsuits or requiring expensive filters.

@alsv_ I can only speak for myself, I have BPD, depression & anxiety, but yes.
For me, a huge part of mental illness is it telling me that I am the only one who has ever felt this way, everyone hates me, I are worthless, etc and when it gets to crisis point I have nothing left to reason with those thoughts on my own.
Certainly for me the most helpful thing is often "I hear you & I care" or some variation

Still using Mastodon! Really enjoying the CW function actually. Enjoying maybe wrong word...very useful though!
Also I'm mostly now over at @mrsteepot cos 2 instances is too many for me!
