@mckern safe travels!
@FenTiger @Mms I’ve been playing nethack for years and I only just learned this week about the #terrain extended command. Super useful for finding stairs when you’ve already visited every room on the level

Study of codebases over a 4 year period show Github Copilot lowers the quality of code over time by increasing the likelihood of bugs being introduced and copy & pasted code.

This is a healthy counterpoint to studies that show improved productivity.

Fast. Cheap. Good. Pick Two.

Despite blowing up my boh I finally ascended with the Wizard! Feeling downright clairvoyant to have tucked away a variety of important items in the stash before starting the endgame
Blowing up my bag of holding is probably the single most common screw-up for me in #nethack. ☹️ Usually happens in a way that destroys whatever artifact weapons I’ve collected too. 😭
@mms I’ve done this for some runs, but unfortunately not any of the ones that ended in an ascension. I thought it might be fun as a masto thread too

@jake4480 try using # - that opens the extended command menu where you can type “dip” or “invoke” or whatever other extended command you want
@jake4480 looks like a fountain to me. You can quaff from it, and dip items into it. (Results can be... interesting.)
Please favor and boost. Let’s show that love can overcome hate and ignorance.
