For folks in Multnomah County, Oregon, you can take a short budget priorities survey to share your views with Chair Jessica Vega Pederson. The survey asks you to do 3 things:
1. Rank a list of about 15 different major program areas.
2. For a few of those major program areas, rank specific programs within the area.
3. Share whatever is on your mind in a free text question.
The survey will be open until Monday, March 3.

Every year, the Multnomah County Chair prepares an executive budget that reflects our community’s values and priorities. In order for the budget to accurately and fully reflect our community’s values and priorities, we need as much input and engagement from as many people as possible. This is especially important in a year when we face a $22 million general fund budget cut, which will have an impact on the services we provide to the community. To learn more about the budget process and other engagement opportunities, visit the Chair's budget website at: This budget survey is an opportunity to have your voice heard! Survey responses will be reviewed by the Chair and her team and used to inform the Chair’s executive budget, which will be released on April 24, 2025. All survey responses are anonymous, and depending on the level of detail entered into comment sections, this survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes. Please complete all questions and click "Submit" once you are finished.
