From a Jungian perspective, the Groundhog must not only see the Shadow but confront it, transmute it, and become anew through it.

For the Shadow is the Groundhog as much as the Sun that casts it.

I’ve been in Delaware as my dad prepares to enter hospice. We’ve not had an easy go of it. While he’s Anglican & Maga I’m reading the #Tibetan Book of the Dead & oh goodness, we should all be so lucky to have this rite as we kiss off the mortal coil.

Needing a break from the hospital, I hit #BombayHook NWR & the birds were everything. Below was my favorite bird, this fox. Such a rare sight for me, holy, quivering, tearful. I thanked the #trickster.
